Looks great, but squealing noise

The look/style and size are perfect for our small wet bar. We put beer in the top and wine in the bottom. As a minor concern, we need a small rack to hold the wine bottles on their side because they are too tall to stand upright. My main gripe is that it makes a squealing noise as part of the condenser cycle. We called our appliance store, they came out and listened, and they said it was "normal" for this design because it doesn't have a heater(?). It isn't _terrible_ or super loud, but is definitely distracting and easy to hear while watching a movie at night. Would love for someone from the manufacturer to check it.

I have the black with gold hardware. It™™s pretty. That™™s all. I™™ve lived in my newly remodeled home for 2 years now and this was put in brand new in my newly remodeled kitchen when we got here. The top drawer was never soft close. It doesn™™t close itself so you have to always remember to close it properly. A month or two into ownership you could see I™™ve growing behind the top drawer and it started beeping constantly (you can hear the beeping with the drawer closed) as if the drawer were left open but it™™s not open, it™™s incessantly beeping while fully closed! I called a repair person from GE and they came and tried to fix it but decided the whole electrical panel needed to be replaced. The guy ordered it and replaced the whole electric board which was covered by the warranty at the time™¦I thought that would fix the problem forever. Then several months ago it started again. Ice at the back and constant Beeping. all. the. time. This tiny fridge was $3500 and it™™s absolute garbage. I don™™t have money to fix it and the beeping is driving us all insane!!! It™™s crazy-making! I™™ve built my kitchen cabinets around these appliances! We have unplugged it for several minutes and replugged it in™¦ two minutes later it™™s beeping again. We turn off the power button for five minutes and turn it back on and it starts beeping immediately. I know It might sound silly but I am a single mom of five and I put everything I have into this house and these appliances and to have this be so expensive and so malfunctioning is actually devastating™¦not to mention the fact that no plumber will even install my cafe under the counter ice maker because they don™™t want to be liable for the fact that they all leak and ruin floors™¦so there it sits, in it™™s custom spot with no cover and no handle and no water connection because no one will touch it™¦for two years! I™™ve had such a bad experience with these things that I was so excited to have. I never should have bought them.

Looks great but beware of leaking water

We've had this fridge for almost two years and use it every day. It looks great, the drawers work well and we get a lot of compliments on it. However, there have been a few times where it wouldn't stay cold enough. During a service call the technician said that the temperature sensor had been installed incorrectly at the factory. He adjusted and it seems better most of the time. He also noted that there is no fan in these units to circulate the air so temperatures can be spotty within the unit. The biggest concern and inconvenience is that the unit accummulates ice on the rear panel and ledge and occassionally that ice melts and water runs out of the unit onto the floor. In our case this isn't disasterous because we have a tile floor but if this were installed on wood, LVT or carpet it would be a big problem.

Two of these are installed on our boat, replacing older small fridges. They are much quieter than the old ones, and most importantly they use much less power (we run often on batteries that manage 110V appliances through an inverter. We can stay on batteries for almost an additional 36 hours with these units. Storage capacity is also larger overall. A big win.

Its very nice, the dividers are a little flimsy and the included storage container takes a lot of real estate. We don't use either one. Does its job, is quiet and matches other appliances. Everyone very impressed when they see it.

Put it in a kitchenette at our beach house. Great place to stash extra beverages for guests. They love it and I love that I can see everything very easily for restocking. I don™™t love the black stainless finish though. It scratches very easily. Was scratched right out of the box but the online store I bought it from said ™too bad - you should have noticed the damage when they delivered it™. The delivery person said they will only take it back if the carton is damaged and wouldn™™t wait until I opened it! Catch 22. Will never order an appliance online again. Anyway, I wish the beautiful black stainless was more scratch resistant.

We bought this mini fridge in April during a kitchen remodel solely for its looks. While it functions fine, it was literally as expensive as the full size Samsung refrigerator we bought and it is very loud, which is disappointing considering the cost. In fact, we decided not to purchase the Cafe fridge because we were weary of the noise a full sized Cafe appliance would have after paying another premium. In the end, I would not buy this again despite its gorgeous looks. Really wish the mini fridge had given us a better impression because we were hoping to buy the Cafe package of appliances to finish out the kitchen.

Great Solution to limited space

Wanted an under-the-counter refrigerator and CafÃ was an attractive option. The exterior and interior finishes were excellent upon arrival. Controls are easily accessed. Excellent user's manual/instructions. Like having the small crisper in the top drawer. Takes some getting 'used to' looking down on jar lids, etc to locate desired item. Also has a 'soft close' feature on the drawers ...at least on the top drawer. My bottom drawer does not have this feature and requires a hard push to close. Quite expensive for the volume of space BUT it does fit under the counter!
