We like the taller height instead of short and wider. roominess inside is perfect for us. we like that we can see the temperature on the door from the outside. We purchased this model on 1-28-21 and has already quit cooling. Coils have always been cleaned, door seals properly and we didn't bloat the freezer with food. I'm very disappointed that a $1000 freezer doesn't last more than 5 years. Service in my area is 60+ miles away so if we had someone troubleshoot and repair it would be very costly. Needless to say, we don't be replacing with another GE.

Only time will tell if it should get 5 stars! Arrived in good condition on schedule. Plenty of capacity. Like the coated shelves although there should be one or two more plus additional slots to adjust spacing. You can only move them an inch or so in adjustment. Plenty of storage bins in the door just don™€™t fill them with heavy items. Initially pleased with product just hope it has a decent lifespan. Wish it had dividers or bins for shelves to separate items. I used the wire baskets from my old chest freezer.

We have only had the freezer for a couple of weeks, so all I can tell you is that it was easy enough to set up and that it holds a very cold temperature. I do wish it had locking wheels, because upright freezers have doors that are hard to open, on purpose, which makes sense. But on a slick concrete floor it™€™s all too easy to pull the freezer away from the wall when opening the door.

just got it and the Delivery was excellent... the product PROs; nice looking, very tall, large capacity, temp control visible outside product, got up to temp quickly, quiet compressor and a very bright cabin LED light. CONs: Shelving seems thinner than most units I saw on display, I pressed down on them they give way somewhat. For sure I can't overload the racks, or they will bend/bow. Shelves are adjustable but not enough to make a difference. Now I just got this product so it's running very very quiet. Also, when opening the door, it seems you must pull and brace with the other hand or the unit will move which might be too much pressure on the handle over the years and it will not last. Overall 8 of 10 is my rating thus far. Will review again in the coming months

Our other freezer died. We replaced it with this freezer. The capacity is exactly the same and perfect sized. It is a much lower energy rating and cost than the previous one. It barely makes any noise at all. The shelving is the same and holds everything we need. And the temp set quick. I also like the quick freeze option as well as the thermostat on the door. It has keys to lock it which will make sure the door doesn't get left open by accident.

This is our third purchase of this model. Yes we have 3 fuf21smrfww upright freezers. We love the capacity and shelving layout. We purchased the first just over a year ago, the second in February and when our 22yr old one started giving us .problems we got another. I would not recommend purchasing anything from GE after this recent purchase, because it is noisy and vibrating. They don't allow you to talk to anyone and you have to pay for a service person to come out and they call this a warranty when it's only 7 days old

Freezer works good. The inside temperature runs lower than the set temperature on the door by 3-5*. We were disappointed tho that it arrived with a scuff mark on the side. Delivery driver saw but didn™€™t say anything about it.
