Installing it was very simple. I just simply popped out the old one, pushed in the new one and ran it through the initial cycle. I™™m embarrassed to say I don™™t remember the last time I changed out the filter. I have already noticed the ice is a lot more clear and less cloudy. The water tastes yummy and since we are on well water I never really thought about all the things that could be in our water but after looking at the list on the packaging I™™m going to be setting an alarm in 5 months to purchase another one to have it ready.
