The pump went out, had to replace it, the bottom filter/screen popped off & now allows food to slide down into parts it shouldn't be able to.Now, water sits in the bottom of the Dishwasher & starts to smell like poo after a few days..I'm very unhappy.

I purchased this dishwasher in 2010. It does a poor job of washing, especially if you place anything on the top rack. Because it is so quiet, we could not tell if the machine was on or not. I have had service out to fix the control panel. The control panel has now completely broken and I cannot get a replacement part for it. I have been trying to get a control panel since May 7, 2016...today is June 16, 2016 and I am starting over from square one!

Leaks and errors

We have owned this unit for just under two years. It consistently leaks through the front door due to a cheap gasket. Recently, we began having leak detection errors where the panel lights flash and become unresponsive. Very quiet and cleans well if you keep a bucket handy. Very disappointing

The only function of this dishwasher is to sanitize dishes. Any and all debris, regardless of how loose, are at risk of still being on the dishes if left on prior to running the dishwasher. Extremely disappointed in virtually all aspects of this item.

Owned the dishwasher for 3 years now...best investment for the kitchen! We have an open kitchen with high ceilings so noises tend to echo. The Electrolux dishwasher barely makes a sound. We often run it at night when everyone is asleep and I have to sometimes check on it to see if it's really on.

Overall we are very pleased with this dishwasher. It is extremely quiet and does a great job cleaning dishes. Drying performance on plastic is not fantastic but using a rinse/drying aid improves it. Because it is so quiet, a more visible indicator showing it is running (or complete) would be useful. We had a maintenance issue after about 6 months - dishwasher was indicating a leak and technician ended up replacing the motor. Warranty service was pretty efficient. Overall I would purchase this dishwasher again.

We bought this dishwasher because we trusted the brand name and liked the design and the idea of it being quiet. It is very quiet for sure and it does look attractive, but it is a terrible dishwasher. If we don't meticulously wash the dishes by hand they won't get clean inside the washer. So we basically really use it as a final rinser and dryer, and it actually does not do a good job of drying stuff either. Especially funky shaped glasses and plastic stuff. We have 2.5 year old twins so thus we have a few plastic dishes from them. We also have had reliability issues and had the appliance repair person over at our house more often than Norm visited Cheers, or at the very least he knows what we are calling about when we call before we name the appliance.As it is we would not buy another Electrolux dishwasher and more than likely no other appliance from the brand.

I really wanted to love this dishwasher. It holds large sizes of dishes, pots, pans, large cutting boards and baking sheets. But other than holding a large amount of dishes, we have not had a perfectly clean load yet. We had the dishwasher installed in November and we're still struggling with lack of cleaning for the past 3 months. We've had 8 service calls so far and have even had to replace water hoses to help improve the water flow. We are now waiting for replacement spray arms in yet another attempt to help improve the cleaning outcome. The top rack repeatedly leaves greasy/food debris. The bottom rack will bake on the food. The "best" cleaning came from thoroughly pre-washing my dishes before loading and leaving plenty of room between items (not fully loading dishwasher). Despite all of that, this dishwasher still does not clean as well as our previous Amana dishwasher, which was 13 years old. The salesman who sold us this machine proudly told us that this dishwasher was top of the line and could clean dishes with obvious food still on them and no pre-washing or rinsing was necessary. I am so disappointed. I certainly had my hopes up and expected more from a top brand like Electrolux.

Attractive dishwasher, with sleek controls (blue LEDs). All stainless interior, with nice coated racks. Room for lots of stoneware and cookware, able to reconfigure the bottom rack to allow items to lay flat. Good support for glassware, including support for wine glasses.Generally cleans pretty well, and has heat and sanitize modes for an extra boost. There is no top rack only mode.Very quiet in most modes. Recently developed a groaning noise that is audible early in the cycle, but then back to quiet again.Cascade detergent has stained the inside of the door starting at the dispenser (rainbow-like sheen) - only visible when dry, but that's minor concern.

Can't see the controls!

When the dishwasher is closed, the LED lights are not visible, so there is no clue as to what is happening inside unless the door is set to stick out from under the counter top. I like minimalist design but one still has to see what is happening.On the positive it is very silent.

You need to wash all dishes before putting them into this dishwasher if you want them to come out clean. It is basically a sanitizer. I have had to replace the control module twice and the latch once. I will never buy another Electrolux product.

Out of all of the Electrolux appliances that I have purchased for my home, the dishwasher and washer/dryer units have been the most reliable.I do not, however, recommend this dishwasher because diagnosing repair issues was difficult for my technician and the unit is not constructed in such a way to make repairs easy. In addition, the unit leaked and damaged my hardwood floors.

I have been very pleased with this product. This machine is so quiet I actually have to open the door to the dishwasher to see if it is still running. This dishwasher gets ran at least once a day in our house and we have owned this particular dishwasher for five years. A couple minor things have had to be replaced but considering how often I use it I didn't see a problem with replacing a couple parts.

We purchased our home brand new complete with Electrolux appliances....problems with fridge and now the dishwasher. Top shelf does not clean. The appliance is now 3 yrs old (Oct) and we only extended the warranty for the 2nd year. Going to call for service on dishwasher and fridge. Expect a dishwasher of this price to last at least 5 years! We are two adults only so can't blame it on the kids!

Bought this model brand new at Lowe's and it worked good for about three years. Then the control panel went out and it was replaced three times along with the pump and both washing fans. We had the extended warranty on this and finally Electrolux replaced the unit. The new unit didn't work as soon as it was connected. It took another 45 days before this was fixed. The dishwasher still doesn't work well. Anything on the top shelf will not get cleaned and can't seem to get fixed. I strongly recommend not buying this unit.

Loved dishwasher for first 6 months, then it started not drying dishes completely. Finally, two days after one year warranty expired, the unit stopped working. After three visits from the repairman and $350 dollars later, we replaced the control panel. Works fine again. But, not without lots of disappointment and cost.

This was installed in my new home one year ago. I have no complaints. Very quiet, cleans well and I find it easy to load. It was installed on a raised platform which has been great. One minor repair of a loose seal, readily handled under warranty.

It took one service call to figure out that we had pushed too many buttons on the control panel and confused the computer so that it did not function properly. But since we figured out the technology we have been very pleased with our Electrolux dish washer. It is extremely quiet and the dishes and silverware come out with a remarkably clean look and feel. We are also pleased with the design of the interior, which accommodates items of all shapes and sizes and allows us to always run it only when fully loaded.

I paid over $1000 for this machine and it hasn't worked right from day one. We're on our second service call and waiting for parts for another week. The drying fan has been replaced and now a wiring harness and computer are on order and we wait another week. If this doesn't solve the problem(s), you should replace the dishwasher including removal and installation of a new one

This dishwasher has been flawless since it was installed. Cleans very well and is very quiet. Our family room is right next to the kitchen and I can hardly hear it working... even in the kitchen its very quiet. No leaks so far and works looks fantastic in the kitchen.

Looks Great But Was a Mistake

In our last home we had a Miele and was very satisfied with it. However, we bought an Electrolux for our new home. It looks great in our kitchen, but within a week one of the metal tabs that separate the dishes broke off. Loading dishes is a problem. Not much design thought was put into loading efficiency. The Miele was much a better designed product. Shortly after the warranty expired a circuit board failed and had to be replaced. Cost was around $100.00. If the extended cycle isn't used, the dishes don't get cleaned even though we rinse all dishes before loading into dishwasher. We are extremely disappointed and would not recommend this product. In a couple years we probably will replace it with a Miele.

Like everyone else I have read reviews about, I do not like my unit. Have had to call for repairs 3 times in the first 6 months. Now the gasket that seals in the door keeps getting caught on the bottom rack and gets pulled loose.
