Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

LG DLGX9001V Premium Price Disappointing Lifespan

GinaLetDown 5/13/2025

I purchased the LG DLGX9001V gas dryer expecting durability and performance from what is marketed as a high-end appliance. Instead Im left with a $625 repair bill and a deep sense of buyers remorse. After just five years of light household use the dryer abruptly stopped workingwith no error code no warning and no guidance from LG. I ran the diagnostic function: nothing. I contacted LG support and their only suggestion was to schedule a vent cleaningat my expense. That alone cost $200 and the technician immediately told me it was completely unnecessary. Left with no real support or options from LG I scheduled a repair through a company they recommended. The technician quickly identified the issue: a failed circuit board part CSP30105902an unexpected problem for a unit this age and quality. The part alone cost $266.17 on top of a $140 service call and $75 labor. Thats $481.17 in repair costs alonenot including the unnecessary $200 vent cleaningbringing the total out-of-pocket to $625.17. To be clear thats $625.17 to fix a five-year-old premium appliance. This is not what I expected when I spent a pretty penny on a matching LG washer and dryer set. The technician was surprised the board failed so soonraising questions about the quality of the internal components. Summary of Costs: Circuit board CSP30105902: $266.17 Service call: $140.00 Labor: $75.00 Unnecessary vent cleaning: $200.00 Total: $625.17 LG offered very limited support no real troubleshooting help and pushed a costly vent cleaning instead of helping diagnose the actual issue. If youre considering this modelor any LG dryerI highly recommend factoring repair costs and short lifespan into your decision. For the price I expected better reliability and far better customer support.

Best Purchase Ever

Blaine25 2/10/2025

I spend alot of time researching major purchases and came to the conclusion that this dryer was the best option for my particular needs. Every few years you by a product and afterward you just know that you nailed it with that purchase. So far I could not be any happier with the results. My only regret is that I did not buy this dryer sooner and I dont have the matching washer. Lots of capacity dries quickly and convenient/cool features. It has additional drying cycles from the app that I am starting to experiment with. The notifications to my phone when the dryer cycle is complete are awesome. Remote starting my dryer from my phone works great. It was all very simple to set up and use.

This is the second time I have owned one of these models and I couldnt be happier. The large capacity is very helpful when in comes to bedding comforters. There are several settings to choose from and are very easy to use. The dryer is also very beautiful especially when paired with the coordinating washer. I highly recommend this dryer after owning and operating two different ones.

Tears in my dryer 11/7/2022

And it very well might be but we have been spending a fortune on repairs and maintenance having replaced the rollers multiple times and told it should be professionally cleaned at least twice a year. At first we were like ok then wondered if it was a lemon as LG support said should not have to service/maintain but then said buy a new one and we will give you 10-15 off. did not sound right. disappointed.

Loads of space for huge loads and comforters

Glad I took the leap 10/27/2022

Just bought this about two weeks ago . I love how little water and detergent are necessary for even jumbo loads . So many options to choose from . Havent learned them all . There is even an option for a custom configuration. I have a feeling there are many more choices than I will ever actually use . I thought they might look huge and boisterous in my space but no . They fit perfectly and look sleek and just great . Very happy . Be careful re child lock on dryer . My installer pushed it by accident and for 5 days I thought the chooser dial was broken .

Love this dryer- would buy again

asyamanda 8/29/2021

I did a lot of research before purchasing this dryer. It has enormous capacity. Is very efficient. It dries large towels to delicates very well. I also love that you can sanitize with steam in this dryer a huge plus in times of covid for things like pillows and bedding that you dont want to wash every time. My only wish is that the heat settings were lower. 99 of the time I use the downloaded extra low heat setting and I rarely use normal because of how hot it dries will shrink clothing.

Excellent large capacity dryer

AnewLGcustomer 7/6/2021

We really liked this dryer that was part of the LG Washer-Dryer-bundle with sidekick washer and pedestal for dryer. Wifi was easy to setup and alerts via iOS app is a useful feature. Ability to turn on the LED light is another cool feature. We havent tried the steam feature of this dryer yet and hope it works as well. Our only disappointment is that LG customer service could not send us a missing included accessory for the sidekick washer in spite of repeated requests in the past 3 weeks.

Brand New - Doesnt work - ZERO stars

LGLemon 6/24/2021

Terrible experience with LG. I bought this dryer two months ago. It worked for 2-3 weeks and then stopped heating. It took one full week to get LG to assign a tech to come diagnose the problem. It took another week to get the tech here. The tech diagnosed what he had already been told - the temperature sensor wasnt working. It took two more weeks to get the temp sensor. It took another week for the tech to come install it. Guess what. Now the wire harness and control board are bad. Those wont arrive for another two weeks. LG refuses to replace it - as long as it can be fixed - Im stuck waiting for parts to a machine that WAS brand new. Im sooo upset with this company and this process. Never again.

Fantastic Dryer

Volman85 6/4/2021

I bought this dryer a couple of months ago and I wish I had purchased it so much sooner. Since I was having issues with my current washer I decided to upgrade and what a difference. My old dryer took several cycles to get the clothes dry. This dryer does it in one cycle. I cant imagine how much money I have lost on the added drying time on my previous dryer. And the steam feature...GREAT.

Bought this washer/dryer set back in Nov 2020 but it wasnt delivered until Jan 2021 due to demand. When I finally had it installed I immediately did EVERY load in the house and then some It has handled every load regardless of size - the capacity is amazing My clothes come out wrinkle free unlike with my old dryer that would overdry and leave my clothes a mess Ive even used the allergy/steam dry for couch cushions/pillows - absolutely love it Drying time is on par with other machines Ive had but the LG ThinQ app is helpful with this - it notifies me when a load is done so I dont have to constantly check or even forget.

Capacity and good lint filtration

JDob 4/5/2021

This can handle our large loads of laundry and does a better job catching lint and keeping it out of our vent. Normal mode leaves clothes a little damp but I can select More Dry to resolve that. Just wish it could default to more dry and not have to select it every load.

I love this dryer Clothes are dry quick.

Rem G 3/22/2021

Ive had the LG dryer for a few weeks and I am very happy with it. My prior dryer I had to keep turning it on and have my clothes dry. They were never dry. Finally I went out and purchased the LG dryer and now my clothes are dry within the time it shows on the dryer. No need to keep turning the dryer on to have my clothes dry

Expensive and low quality

jjpp 12/24/2020

I bought this dryer along with a matching washer pedestal washer and pedestal set and I am beyond disappointed. 5 months after my purchase the dryer would shut down in the beginning or middle of normal dry cycle leaving clothes completely wet. The only functions that worked well were the custom and air dry set up. Now its been 13 months since my purchase I cannot use the dryer because the inside of dryer smells like gas. We bought a gas leak detector and all of the outside connections are tight free of gas leaks however the inside of the dryer shows high amounts of gas. Absolutely terrible considering how much money I spent on all brand new LG appliances

Unreliable - Dryer Broke after 3 years

RD09 9/20/2020

Dryer failed after 3 years right out of warranty. Not worth it - poor quality and reliability. Worked great when it actually functioned...

Does not work with counter over it and not in spec

Tara P 9/16/2020

We designed our laundry room to have front loaders with a counter on top - today was installation of the washer and dryer and we got a surprise when we saw the detergent goes in the top of the washer and the water for the steam cycle goes in the top of dryer. It is an 8 inch setback so the counter would be much smaller than what we designed and paid for. Now we cant return these and in order to fix it we need to get new units that have everything in front. There was nothing clear in the link to the units so our designer would never have known and because of Covid I didnt go to a showroom so I didnt know either. This should have been clearly stated so this could have been avoided.

Love the up to date features

JanKs 2/12/2020

I had a fabulous set in the past however the new features offered on this machine make laundry so much easier. Love the steam options for freshening bedspreads and pillows along with steaming dress shirts and my cashmere sweaters so I am saving on dry cleaning.
