I am in absolute love with my new LG washer. The high capacity drum makes washing large items so much easier than before. The smart sensors are amazing and Im actually a big fan of the countdown timer. I like how it gives me reminders to run a clean cycle for the tub to keep the performance high. Also a small victory with this machine is the dispenser for powder detergents. It doesnt seem too common on most machines and I really appreciate this because I dont like dumping the powder directly on top of my clothes. All in all I give this washer an A+. Absolutely no complaints

Its an upgrade to our old lg washer original was purchased new in 2012 it lasted till June 2025 without needing any kind of maintenance. So when it died we looked for something affordable and the same machine we had came up but the newest edition with all the bells and whistles heres to hopefully another 12 years of amazing products. FYI the original lg dryer bought back in 2012 is still going strong. Some of the features of the upgraded washer I love are the ai wash and the app notifications. Its nice to have updates when not at home just to remind me that hey dont forget there is clothes that needs to be dried. Great job lg love your products. The installation was easy and hassle free.

I switched from another brand after moving and leaving my beloved LG behind. This has made my heart so happy again. And game charger that the app will tell me when its done No more forgetting the loads and rewashing 18 times. It also reminds me when to run a cleaning cycle to keep it smell free. Has a ton of options for loads including AI sensing which honestly is just my new go to. And it has not spun unbalanced even once. 40 something loads so far and not a single hitch. I absolutely adore this machine and next time I move this baby is coming with me. Only thing I dont like or is weird I guess is that the soap dispeser fills up with water and dumps out the back when you open it to remove clothes. Not a deal break but surprised me the first few times I opened it.

I had to wait to write this review until I had a real chance to try out several cycle options the LG Mega Capacity Washer WT8200CL offers. By now I had the chance to wash my toddlers clothes on the Baby cycle my husbands mechanic uniforms on the Heavy Duty my office dresses on the Delicates and even let my teenage daughter experiment with the AI setting. None of them have disappointed me every load has come out cleaner Ive also realized I use less detergent since it has a softener liquid detergent and powder detergent tray that dispenses it more efficiently. The spin cycle wrings clothes out so that drying time is noticeably shorter. What I love most is the EasyUnload design. At 51 reaching the bottom of a top-load washer has always been a challenge but this is a game changer. No more stretching or struggling to reach the last sock The ThinQ app is another of my favorite feature. I can I customize my cycle settings monitor the wash progress and get alerts on my phone and Google Hubs. Overall the LG Mega Capacity Washer has exceeded my expectations in every way. Its a luxury I didnt know I couldnt live without

Awesome upgraded washer

You never truly know how badly you need a new washer until you get the new one and realize how many issues youd been taking for granted. Right away this washer slotted in as the perfect upgrade and theres been noticeable improvements. The smallest but it represents LG not leaving any detail behind is the bleach cup. In old systems it was a separate part that snapped out but that left it open to rust and grime. This new one is molded in place so you only have to worry about the drain hole becoming clogged. My very first use went straight for the ThinQ app theres two QR codes inside the machine so make sure you grab the right one. I needed to wash delicates and theres not a preset n the selector wheel BUT I honestly think this was the best thing for me because once I entered the app I could see why you didnt want to miss it. Soaking options multiple rinse cycles the aforementioned delicate cycle were all there and honestly if the delicates cycle had been on the selector wheel I probably wouldnt have checked out ThinQ for a while. Overall though this is a workhorse Ive run at least 12 loads through it this week and it performs like a champ. The only odd item is the detergent cup doesnt always drain but since Im using reusable pods in the tub it hasnt affected things at all. Ill probably call in and just validate how to make sure that works well going forward in case I switch back to liquid. The actual washing though is superb. It seems much smarter than my last top loader that would leave everything plastered to the walls and required drying the clothes to get out the wrinkles. In this case it seems to more gently end things so the clothes arent pinned and twisted so hanging up clothes to dry works much better. Other improvements Ive noticed are the lid the additional cycle options the spinning impeller seems to be made of a new material that looks to hold up longer my last one looked like it had a fight with a wagon of cats and the top edge of the basin looks like its angled to reduce the tendency of debris sitting in there over time. Only time will tell if this one holds up longer or just as long as the previous but shout out to LG that the motor and actual function never failed so Im looking forward to this one lasting just as long. Definitely feels like they improved all the items I might have noted as wanting to upgrade on my last set and the love the color. Touch panel is fairly fingerprint prone but rest is A+.

Never Received My Washer

We ordered from LG and in the process of delivering our washer to the delivery agent RXO LG lost our washer. We ordered it on 9/18 and as of 10/14 LG keeps saying they are internally researching where the lost washer is and will give me an update in 24-72 hours. I have heard this 3 times and finally cancelled my order because who orders a washer unless they need one? LG customer service continued dragging their feet on shipping out a new washer even though no one can find the original one. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and they continued to string us along refusing to issue us a refund until I threatened with a lawsuit for stealing our money. Given my experience I will never be purchasing another LG product because if it breaks or if there is an issue the issue will ever be resolved. Now we are fighting to get our money back to go purchase something at a local big box store so I can actually wash clothes

Oh man I had an extra capacity top load washer before this that had issues since I first bought it. Im so glad to have replaced it with this LG WT8200CL. Its big tough pretty many washing options. Takes a minute to get use to customizing your wash but that was it.

This washer is amazing. It has an app and allows you to view and change cycles. It has a lot of nice options and even allows you to use AI to determine the recommended settings based on laundry. I find it washes our clothing thoroughly and efficiently. I love my new washer. It has a large capacity and can fit large items like comforters and blankets.

We are loving the size of this washing machine. We can wash all of our bedding in one load. The color is an off black very sleek. Still discovering all of its features but the AI setting is awesome. It uses weight and other algorithms to optimize the temperature and spin rate that us best for each load

This washer is just what we needed Its definitely an upgrade its sleek so it takes up less room but were able to still fit a good amount of laundry inside which is a big plus for our family of 6 It is very easy to figure out and its pretty quiet We noticed you can hardly hear it when its running which is amazing The settings are nice because the time adjusts based off settings so if you put a big load it adjusts the time accordingly which is also a great positive for us. Overall we love it We couldnt have asked for a better washer

So it says 5.0 cu.ft. Mega Capacity and means it. So large Did a queen comforter with no issues at all. Sorta fun to watch trough the glass top. It closes slow no more slammed top. Still working through the AI parts but it seems to sense the needed cleaning cycle and the turbo is really fast. It does seem easy to reach into. I am 54 and can reach the bottom without a struggle. Overall great washer so far. The app is cool and tells me when the cycle is done nice tool.

Needs more spin

Ill start with the not so great the spin cycle leaves clothes a bit wetter than Im used to. Ive most recently used front load washers so maybe this is just how top loaders work. My clothes definitely came out clean but the extra water meant more work for my dryer. For such a large drum this washer doesnt take up much space the build is really efficient. The soap dispensers slide back into the chasis giving you full access to the drum so loading and unloading are nice and easy. The setup was easy and the LG ThinQ app makes keeping track of the cycle status a breeze. There are plenty of cycle options extra rinses and the like but I do wish there was one for an extra spin. There is an option for download able cycles so maybe thats something LG can do in the future. Now that Ive mentioned the not so good lets talk about what works. This washer is efficient and definitely get clothes clean my mother does a lot of gardening and her clothes come out perfectly clean each time I definitly think this upright washer cleans better than front loaders and there is the added benefit of being able to leave the top open nobody wants a smelly washer. I like all the cycle options that are included without becoming too complicated. This is definitely a washer you can throw your clothes in add soap to the dispenser and go about your business. If youre looking for an upright washer you cant go wrong with this one.

Id been using a front load washer for years and years. I wanted to switch back to a top load so I could soak my clothes as well as feeling like a top load washer cleans better. I decided on this LG washer due to the capacity of the washer. I can literally fit 2 loads of my previous washer in one load with this LG washer. I like the AI feature that automatically selects the water level and type of wash as well. Easy to set and forget. The washer also runs very quiet which is nice.

I absolutely love my new LG washer The drum is quite spacious with my previous washer I always got a little nervous stuffing my king size quilt inside. I had absolutely no concerns here. It cleaned it like a champ. I love how customized you can tailor each load if necessary. There are so many cool features within the app Im still testing them all out. Im also a big fan of the fact theres a space for powder detergent in the dispenser tray. Setup and app connection was a breeze. The drain hose has great flex to it but stays in place quite easily. They were very thoughtful in the details that often arent given a second thought. Very appreciated. All in all I find this to be a great washer that will suit my family for years to come.

Quiet and Big

Have used a front load washer for 10 years and going back to top load now and decided to get this washer. Why top load? Easier to load fits more and can soak clothes. This washer runs very quiet and its huge It fit the same amount of clothes I did in my old washer with two loads and even had more room You can see in the photo below - I put in what would be two loads in my previous washer and there is still room. The clothes washed perfectly and came out clean. The AI is supposed to figure out what kind of clothes and how full the washer is to determine the best way to wash them. So far its done well and no issues. The black color is nice but shows fingerprints really easy but its easy to clean off with a damp cloth.
